Some projects are just fun to do and this renovation was one of them! The homeowner loved his neighborhood but wanted a different type of home: one that accommodated chef-style cooking and group entertaining. The current home was small with a dated kitchen and several modest-size first floor rooms. Out of the box thinking led to the solution — a complete first floor renovation, in addition to creating a state-of-the art cooking space. All first floor walls were removed, and all electrical and HVAC duct work were relocated to accommodate a new, open floorplan. This new kitchen now features high-end chef appliances and an island cooktop — a challenge with concrete flooring! The result is spectacular and creates the ideal kitchen and entertaining space desired.
